| 報名時程 | The Applied Summer School is open to invited partners of FH JOANNEUM. Just visit http://fhj.to/appliedsummerschool. Tip: The registration period for the Applied Summer School 2017 opens on December 4th, 2017, and closes on April 30th, 2018. The maximum number of participants is 25. |
| 費用 | The academic courses are free of charge for students from invited partner institutions. The program fee of 1300 EUR includes: > Accommodation in a nearby dorm; > Breakfast and lunch during teaching days; > Excursions (bus, entrance fees, etc.); > Company visits; > University fee; > Local health insurance fee. |
| 課程說明 | The academic program includes a total of 17 integrated teaching modules. Each of these modules consists of theory and applied parts. In addition, the summer school comprises company visits and excursions. The company visits include meetings with senior executives of major Austrian companies. Since Austria has an extremely high rate of foreign trade, the companies selected for the summer school are internationally active and will enable the participants of Applied Summer School to get a deep insight into practical issues of business in Europe. The workload of the students equals 6 ECTS (150 hours of workload. 30 ECTS represent a full semester workload). Each module includes lectures, interactive discussions, case studies, applied assignments and readings. Because of the tight teaching schedule, students are recommended to do some assigned reading prior to the summer school. Texts will be provided by the instructors. | 住宿資訊 | In cooperation with The OeAD Housing Office (OeAD-WohnraumverwaltungsGmbH) students will be accommodated in rooms in one of the nearby dorms, which can all easily be reached either by foot or via public transport. The OeAD Housing Office provides places in student halls of residence and small flats for exchange students and visiting professors. Each room is equipped with a TV set (35 channels), Internet connection and telephone. The rooms are equipped with modern furnishings and decorated with friendly colored patterns. A robust parquet floor in acacia, matching furniture fronts, light-colored corpus parts and nice accessories provide the best conditions for studying. All units have a fully equipped kitchen-cum-living room and some of them also a balcony or loggia. Moreover, the house has a party room, a launderette and a bicycle storeroom. Its main goal is on one hand to guarantee the best possible utilization of capacities and on the other hand, in its function as a service organization, to make sure that exchange students and visiting professors are fully satisfied with the accommodation provided.
