Payment and Refund of Tuition and Other Required Fees by Students Adopting "Safely Back to School" Measures

 

Period: 2nd semester of AY 2019

Target Students: Overseas degree students who are temporarily barred from entering Taiwan as announced by the Central Epidemic Command Center. Those who already entered Taiwan before the entry ban should follow the regular administrative procedure.  

 

I.  Payment

1. For those not in Taiwan:

a.  Remit the tuition and other required fees to ISU's bank account (a service charge of NT$200 per remittance will be borne by ISU); or

b.  Pay the tuition and other required fees on the Information System by credit card.

2. For those in Taiwan:

a. Pay the tuition and other required fees on the Information System by credit card;

b. Students from China may pay the tuition and other required fees by credit card (UnionPay) at the Cashier Section (a surcharge of 1.9% will be borne by ISU); or

c. Pay with a payment slip at any branch of Chunghwa Post Office.

 

II. Refund

1.  For those not in Taiwan:

a.  International remittance: Please provide the required information for the unit-in-charge to fill out a remittance slip (a service charge of NT$220 will be deducted from the refund).

b.  Students who have a domestic bank account or a Post Office account (with cross-border cash deposit/withdrawal functions):

(1) No service charge will be collected if the refund is deposited in a Post Office account; or

(2) A service charge of NT$30 will be collected (deducted from the refund) if the refund is deposited via inter-bank transfer.

2. For those in Taiwan:

a. Students who have a domestic bank account or a Post Office account:

(1) No service charge will be collected if the refund is deposited in a domestic bank account   or a Post Office account; or

(2) A service charge of NT$30 will be collected (deducted from the refund) if the refund is deposited via inter-bank transfer.

b. Collect the refund in cash in person.
