ISU Students Make a Big Splash at International Film Festivals

Films produced by the students of the Department of Film and Television for the graduation exhibition have been nominated at domestic and international film festivals. Three films, “Abang,” “Homeless,” and “Maid Lisa,” focusing on sensitive social issues, were made by three directors, respectively, from Malaysia and Hong Kong. They said that they have learned a lot of knowledge of filmmaking at ISU in the past four years, and they were glad that their works were internationally recognized.

“Maid Lisa” is a film directed by Sokalok So, a graduate of the Department of Film and Television, based on his true story.
