EMI Writing Center

With the arrival of the 2030 bilingual national policy, I-Shou University is actively responding to this initiative. In the 112th academic year, the university officially established an English Writing Center, led by the Foreign Language Center. The purpose of this center is to provide diverse language learning activities for students and to inspire their English writing potential, enabling them to integrate into a bilingual environment and enhance their international competitiveness.

English writing is one of the essential core skills for university students. However, many students lack opportunities for practice, struggle with in-depth exploration and analysis of writing topics, and face significant challenges due to a lack of understanding of effective English writing structures. To address these issues, we established the English Writing Center to offer comprehensive support for English writing, helping students overcome their writing obstacles.

We understand the challenges and difficulties students face in English writing, and our primary goal is to provide individual consultations and writing guidance, organize engaging and interesting English writing activities, and offer a wealth of writing-related resources and tools, including writing samples, writing techniques, and writing software

The establishment of the English Writing Center not only helps improve the writing skills and international competitiveness of students and faculty but also promotes the university's international development. We firmly believe that through the efforts of this center, students and faculty will receive comprehensive support and development in foreign language skills, preparing them to fully integrate into the globalized era.
