•Responsibilities:
- Assisting with activities held by academic units or students (with general affairs, including new student orientations, university anniversaries, Chinese New Year gatherings, entrance examinations, and graduation ceremonies.) and with venue decoration for assemblies and events at Main Campus.
- Managing the International Conference Hall, the International Auditorium, and seminar rooms on the 10th floor of the Administration Building as well as handling applications for borrowing spaces, safekeeping and cleaning tablecloths
- Managing, maintaining and cleaning audio equipment and other facilities in Room No. 3801 of Science and Technology Building and Room No. 50201 (auditorium) & 50301 (auditorium) of Teaching Building & International Building 60401-413,60510, and managing online booking records.
- Maintaining and repairing these vehicles, handling applications for borrowing these vehicles for official purposes, and handling related expense reimbursement.
- Taking charge of campus gardening and landscaping, and managing gardening contractors.
- Making statistical tables showing the amount of waste cooking oil collected from restaurants on campus and reporting them to the Ministry of Education
- Making arrangements for the school bus schedule and bus routes (including summer and winter vacations), managing and dispatching school buses, renewing contracts for school buses annually, and calculating and applying for monthly bus transportation expenses.
- Taking charge of restaurant management (including contract terms and conditions, hygiene management, and equipment and facilities).
- Taking a roll call on cleaning staff from cleaning contractors or assigning jobs to them (including purchasing requisitions for campus gardening and other projects)
- Submitting purchasing requisitions for garbage disposal and making monthly statistics of the amount of garbage, and rat-catching & disinfection at restaurants, and repair of dumbwaiters (elevators) at restaurants of student dormitories, Chinese & Western-style restaurants at Student Activity Center, and restaurants in the shopping area (where students majoring in hospitality take internships) on campus every year.
- Applying for reimbursement of natural gas expenses of City Light Restaurant and ISU International House I and preparing monthly statistics on natural gas expenses.
- Assisting in checking the number of cleaning tools stored in respective buildings, and submitting purchasing requisitions whenever necessary.
- Submitting purchasing requisitions for making new parking permits, issuing parking permits to full- and part-time faculty and staff members, and making corresponding entries into the system every academic year. Issuing (temporary) parking permits to VIPs, restaurant operators, and staffers of convenience stores, and making corresponding entries into the system.
- Supervising, calculating work-study payments to, and handling expense reimbursement of labor insurance for work-study students at the Section and ISU Practice Center. Assisting with the affairs of ISU Practice Center, including production and announcement of advertising materials, posters of festivals, maintenance and management of personnel information, transportation of ingredients and products, etc. Maintaining and updating the information about the Section and ISU Practice Center on the website. Handling reimbursement of public broadcasting fees of cable televisions and music channels for the Section and ISU Practice Center
- Maintaining and handling expense reimbursement of university-owned vehicles
- Managing and handling expense reimbursement of petty cash of the Section
- Supervising cleanliness, and maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities of the Administration Building and Teaching Building at Main Campus
- Managing LED televisions, poster panels, flag stands, flagpoles, long tables, and folding chairs and handling related applications
- Handling non-routine tasks
