Yu-Jen Lin was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He received B.S. degree in electrical engineering from National Sun Yet-Sen University, Taiwan, 1991, served as a second Lieutenant in Chinese Army in Kinmen island, and obtained Ph.D. in electronic and electrical engineering from University of Strathclyde, Scotland, UK, 1999. Rong-Ching Wu graduated from National Taiwan Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan, in 1990. Chien-Hsuan Chang (M’12) was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1974. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from the National Sun Yat-Sen University, Kaohsiung, Taiwan, in 1996, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the National Chung Cheng University, Chiayi, Taiwan, in 1998 and 2002, respectively. From 2002 to 2007, he was a Chief Engineer and Team Leader with the Department of Telecom Power Module, Acbel Polytech Inc., Tamsui, Taipei, Taiwan, where he designed and developed high-power-density and high-efficiency power modules for Telecom applications. Since February 2007, he has been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, I-Shou University, Kaohsiung, where he is currently an Associate Professor.His current research interests include power-electronic converters and their applications on photovoltaic power systems and LED drivers.
