Curriculum
The curriculum content is multidisciplinary, incorporating studies in areas, such as management of integrated health systems, hospital management, managed care, health planning, leadership, finance, management information systems and associated technology, law, epidemiology, and biostatistics.
In order to comply with practical training protocol, the Department has been aggressively recruiting preeminent teaching hospitals and healthcare organizations in southern Taiwan as practical training sites for DHA students.
The research projects would not only enhance the quality of teaching and learning but also benefit health policy-making at varying levels via significant findings and recommendations.
For the master's program, the DHA aims to equip students with the skills required for tomorrow’s healthcare organizations.
As a graduate of the program, you will be able to unite the apparently irreconcilable healthcare resources with entrepreneurial management techniques, progressively increasing quality with a steady decrease in costs.
Faculty
The faculty and staff in the department maintain diverse health services and administration interests, and they are also good at their skill sets with these technologies.
The number of full-time teachers at the department is 15, including 1 professor, 5 associate professors, and 9 assistant professors.

In terms of the library collection, the Department continues to purchase textbooks and subscribe to professional journals related to healthcare services.
Career Development
In order to meet the nation's need for modernization, our goal is to equip DHA students with practical skills and decent knowledge in healthcare administration, so that they will be able to contribute to Taiwan's healthcare service organizations and systems.
