English Reading Online Placement Test

Dear Freshmen,

Welcome to the International College. My name is Samantha, the secretary of the Dean’s Office of the International College. I am writing to inform you of the online placement test for the English Reading class. The online test will be open from September 6^th at 8:00 a.m. to September 17^th at 12:30 p.m. The instructions for how to log-in to Moodle and how to access the placement test are attached as appendix 1. Please make sure you take the test during this time, as there will not be a make-up exam. The second week, your schedule will be adjusted as to which class you will be in.

If you have taken IELTS or TOEIC and have a high enough score, you can be exempt from the class. Please refer to the appendix 2 for the chart of Exemption from Required General English Courses in International College. For qualified students, please submit an online application along with supporting documents from September 11^th (Mon) at 8:00 a.m. to September 18^th (Mon) at 5:00 p.m. on the Information System.
