【公告】休學復學注意事項Suspension and Resumption Notification

• 休學Suspension
  1.學生每次可以申請休學一學期至一學年。
  Students are able to apply for suspension from one to two semesters (one academic year) each time.
  2.休學累計以二學年為上限。核准休學期限屆滿，而未辦理復學申請或繼續休學者，依規定將予退學。
  The maximum of the accumulated suspension period is two academic years. If you fail to finish the resumption procedure or prolong the duration of suspension in time, the school will compel you to drop out.
  3.申請離校（休學、退學、畢業）且持以就學為目的之外僑居留證者，於完成離校手續後，居留證便會失效，請立即離境。休學手續完成後，健保也會被取消。
  Please note that your ARC (with the purpose of study) will become invalid after you complete the related school-leaving procedures (suspension, withdrawal, and graduation). You shall leave Taiwan immediately.
  When applying to leave the school, your NHI (National Health Insurance) will be canceled after you complete the related school-leaving procedures.
• 復學Resumption
  1.委託他人申請復學須附上申請書和委託書，受託人須出示身分證明文件以備查驗。復學申請時間:第一學期受理時間:7/1-7/31，第二學期受理時間:1/1-1/31
  If entrusting others to apply for resumption, please fill out the application form and attach the power of attorney (Letter of Authorization). The trustee must show the proof of identity document for inspection. The time for applying for the resumption: for the Fall semester is from July 1 to 31; January 1 to 31 for the Spring semester.

            2.休學結束後欲返臺復學時，須重新申請居留簽證入境。申請復學後，健保資格也會重新起算180天。
            If you would like to return to I-Shou to resume your study, you will need to re-apply a NEW Resident Visa to enter Taiwan. When you re-enter Taiwan (after complete the resumption procedure), you have 

             to stay in Taiwan for 180 days to be eligible for the enrollment of NHI program.
