Launched in 2016, there were initially 13 active international student representatives who sought to voice for the diverse student community.   "Taiwan student representative " has since the very begining a crutical member in this in order to  diminish segregation.  In the fall of 2018, International Student Union was formally founded. Membership is offered to all students taking up any program within I-Shou University. ISR members from previous school years were recruited as Avisory members to continue serving this ever growing family. Prospective ISR members were also recruited as Deputy Representatives as they could take time to be observe how the organization operates. In order to enrich international vision and to enhance intercultural value, ISUISU organizes activities to introduce cultures through food; through apparel; through crafts & folk games; through movie, documentary & photography; through performances; even through sports. In only a few years, this organization has grown exponentially, with more than 40 International Student Representatives and an Executive Board that oversees ISUISU.

  • Bylaws
  • The ISUISU Bylaws are the fundamental principles and values of what our organization is all about. In order to maintain regulation within the organization, the Bylaws constitute of the specific rules and standards needed to be upheld by all members relevant.

  • Meeting minutes
  • On the last Wednesday of every month during the academic year, the ISUISU holds a Monthly Meeting to update on the status of the Union. Though attendance from ISR's is usually mandated, this is a meeting open to all of our students! Not only do we discuss the latest updates from the university, it is a networking time for students to meet and chat with those they don't normally get the chance to talk with. Once every 3 months, ISUISU also invites all students who recently had/will be have a birthday to join and be celebrated with a birthday cake and snacks! In order to be transparent and maintain clear channels of communication, Meeting Minutes are taken so that all members who wish to be updated with the latest happenings are able to do so with no hassle.
